Hi, I’m Emily Carter, the woman behind Crochet Blossom. I’m 44 years old, and crochet has been part of my life for many years.
My love for crochet started with something very simple: yarn, a hook, and the desire to make something with my own hands. At first, I practiced basic stitches and small projects, often undoing rows and starting over when something didn’t look quite right. Over the years, those small projects slowly turned into blankets, scarves, home décor, seasonal pieces, gifts, and countless little creations for the people I love.
For me, crochet has never been only about finishing a project. I love the entire process—from choosing yarn colors and trying a new stitch to watching a simple ball of yarn slowly become something useful and beautiful.
